You will actually record two videos: an individual message and a group wave.

1. Individual message (with sound, 15 seconds max.)

This is your moment to shine! If you don’t land it right the first time, you can always record again.

As well as recording a message in Gifvie, you can also upload one from your smartphone’s camera roll. The uploaded video can be any length up to a maximum of 15 seconds.

2. Group wave (no sound, 5 seconds)

Next, you will be asked to wave for 5 seconds. This can be edited later into a group scene.
